Java EE 6 book at JavaOne

javaee6Hurrah !!! My book physically exists. It was printed last week and is available at JavaOne. So guys, look for the book shop in the Moscone center, and ask for the already best-seller Java EE 6 book. You can’t miss it. It has been published by Apress (it’s black and yellow) and, as you can see on the photo, it’s the smallest pile of them all ;o) Then, take a photo of you in front of the book (or holding the book, reading the book, kissing the book or whatever else you fancy doing with the book) and send it to me ;o)

For European people who don’t have the opportunity to be at JavaOne this year, you’ll have to wait a couple of weeks before it is available on the continent, or buy the electronic version.

Happy reading.

  1. Bravo !!!

Toutefois, je dois reconnaitre rencontrer quelques difficultés concernant l’initialisation du conteneur EJB embeddable (No provider name found).

  3. Hi,

I’m getting into Java as a newbie and want to work with the latest technical standards and open source offerings.

Is this book a good way to learn Java as a novice and will it offer sufficient coding examples that you code yourself (as opposed to just download, review and install like some books seem to do) so that you can learn the ins and outs of what is essential to know ?

    Thanks

    Steve
